The Science Behind Regenerative Medicine
Advanced therapies designed to support healing at the cellular level
FORGET THE CELL COUNT.
ASK IF THEY ARE VIABLE?
In the regenerative medicine industry, it is common to see clinics market their treatments based solely on massive cell counts. However, the total number on a label does not reflect the actual therapeutic value you receive. A high cell count means very little if those cells are no longer functional. Only live, viable cells possess the biological capability to actively respond to your body and deliver true therapeutic results. When it comes to healing, viability is the definitive standard.
Living cells are dynamic cells. Our Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) are ethically sourced from pristine, fresh umbilical cord tissue. Unlike adult stem cells—which age alongside us and bear the cumulative impact of environmental toxins and cellular stress—umbilical cord-derived cells represent a young, highly resilient source. This youthful baseline ensures superior cellular performance and structural integrity.
Because these cells are genuinely viable, they perform exactly as nature intended. Clinical research demonstrates that live MSCs are highly responsive: they actively sense their microenvironment, engage in complex signaling with surrounding tissues, and precisely release the exact regenerative molecules required for localized repair. This vital cellular communication and responsiveness can only be achieved with live, verified stem cells.
At our clinic, we do not just promise quality—we rigorously verify viability.
How Regenerative Therapy Works
Regenerative medicine is all about actually assisting in repairing and rejuvenating damaged tendons, ligaments, cartilage, and bone, instead of just managing pain. While traditional treatments like cortisone injections usually just mask symptoms with a temporary band-aid, regenerative medicine goes deeper, aiming to heal the tissue itself.
When musculoskeletal injuries happen, regenerative medicine harness the power of stem cells, growth factors and platelets, for a more effective and long-lasting solotion. We provide the essential building blocks that stimulate your body’s natural healing process and speeds up the recovery.
Umbilical Cord-Derived Stem Cells
We source our stem cells from human umbilical cord tissue, which is the a high concentration of mesenchymal stem cells, or mscs. We choose this source because mscs are exceptionally effective at calming inflammation and autoimmune responses, while also playing a key role in cellular signaling to support tissue repair and regenration.
The Process
-
Compliance & Maternal Choice
Collection of the umbilical cord is in full compliance with the strict standards of the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB). Four weeks before a scheduled C-section, the mother is given the choice to store or donate her baby’s umbilical cord.
-
Donor Screening & Approval
If the mother chooses to donate, she undergoes a thorough medical and social history review along with comprehensive blood testing to obtain clinical approval.
-
Sterile Collection & Transport
Once approved, a trained technician collects the cord during delivery by clamping it and placing the tissue safely inside a sterile collection bag. The collected umbilical cord is then securely transported to the laboratory for processing.
-
Cell Isolation & Independent Disease Testing
While testing is underway, the lab carefully processes the cord to isolate the stem cells and remove all red blood cells. Concurrently, a sample of the tissue is sent to an independent, FDA-registered third-party laboratory for rigorous screening under United States Pharmacopeia Rule 71 (U.S.P. 71) standards to test for communicable diseases.
-
Sterility Testing & Quality Validation
Once cellular processing is complete, a sample of the final stem cell product is sent to a second, entirely separate independent, FDA-registered third-party laboratory for thorough sterility and viability testing.
-
Authorized Distribution Approval
Only after receiving a verified "clean" report from both the disease screening and secondary sterility laboratories are the stem cells approved for clinical distribution. This layered process ensures every batch of stem cells meets and exceeds all regulatory and safety standards.
Regenerative Therapy vs. Traditional Approaches
Many traditional treatments focus on managing pain rather than addressing its source.
While therapies such as PRP (platelet-rich plasma) can offer benefits, advanced stem cell-based approaches provide a more comprehensive regenerative response.
This allows for deeper support of tissue repair and long-term function, making it a preferred option for many patients seeking lasting results.
A Focus on Safety and Precision
All treatments are performed with a focus on patient safety, precision, and individualized care.
Each case is carefully evaluated to determine the most appropriate approach, ensuring that treatments are aligned with the patient’s condition, goals, and overall health profile.
